July was among the busiest months for our practice. We assisted a great number of international students who have been experiencing difficulty with their studies due to a range of reasons, many of which stem from COVID-19. These students required assistance with explaining their personal circumstances to their schools and immigration department. It is important to note here that while the COVID-19 restrictions have eased, the repercussions are very much ongoing and impacting the lives of many, hence, causing complications with schools and student visa compliance issues.

Additionally, we witnessed a rise in tribunal and court cases involving clients who were in extremely delicate circumstances and detained. These particular clients necessitated assistance in explaining their personal circumstances to governmental organizations. This is yet another example of how our practice is actively impacting the lives of many.

HD Psychology has been supporting clients with a wide range of issues. We conduct a range of psychological assessment reports, and our reports have been used as supporting documentation for our client's requests in the following areas:

- Letters of release from educational institutions (university, college, etc.)
- Onshore applications for partner visas
- Change of educational institution
- Change of course
- Deferral of studies
- Requests for a reduction of studies
- Academic progress or attendance issues
- Requests to re-seat exams
- Requests to relocate cities
- Requests to repeat a course/subject(s)
- Appeals for rejections
- Mitigations for submissions of false documents (also known as cheating in exams or assessments)
- Expert witness for refusal of visa for bad character
- Expert witness in the courts including Local court, District court, and Supreme court for criminal or driving matters
